Meet the Staff
Kelley Keith - Executive Director
Kelley is a long time New London resident with her husband David and two children Kamryn and Jack. They share a home in our community with their Saint Bernard.
For 13 years, Kelley has addressed our neighbors' critical human needs, as an important member of the social work/case management department at New London Hospital. This incredible professional background, coupled with her experience in counseling, provides COA with compassionate, skilled leadership.
Kelley is a visionary leader with a comprehensive understanding of the needs of our communities, and views our work at COA as pivotal in serving and supporting our seniors in positive, uplifting, and healthy ways.
An avid outdoorsperson, Kelley enjoys alpine skiing, running, and boating in Lake Sunapee. Kelley holds a master's degree in counseling psychology from Springfield College and brings a wealth of experience in human services to our COA family. Karen Lester - Administrative Manager
Karen is a native of New Hampshire and a graduate of Plymouth State University. She has spent her entire career in the non-profit world. Before joining COA in 2004, Karen was employed by Kendal at Hanover, a continue care retirement community in Hanover, NH, for 13 years. Her experience with the residents of Kendal directed her toward a career where she could continue to work with the senior population and spend time with her husband and two sons. The COA Chapin Senior Center was the perfect fit and she's been happily employed by COA for over almost 15 years. Karen is responsible for the development and daily management of COA's programs and services.

Mario Capozzoli - Director of Marketing
Mario is a nonprofit leader and social architect, active in the profession for 36+ years.
Mario serves COA on a part-time basis and resides in Sunapee.
He holds a bachelors and masters degree in public administration and public policy analysis, and is a graduate in leadership from Stanford University, and a graduate of the Marriott School for Hospitality Management and the Culinary Institute of America, St Helena, California campus.
Mario is responsible for business sponsors, strategic planning, foundation relations and grants, and marketing and public relations. As a member of the staff team, Mario partners with Kelley, Karen, and Sharon to support top-quality programming, services, and activities to the communities we are proud and honored to serve.

Sharon Knapp - Administrative Assistant
Sharon who was a long time resident of Sunapee, now resides in Georges Mills with her husband Jeff and beloved rescued pets, one Wheaton Terrier and a cat. Sharon’s daughter has a daughter, Taylor. Sharon’s entire professional career has been in the education field as a teacher and administrator. She graduated from Castleton State College and the University of Vermont holding both Bachelor and Master degrees in education and administration and planning. To maintain her creative side Sharon has bartended for commercial companies and private gatherings. She also has held roles as wedding planner and event manager. Her favorite past times are spending time with family and friends, boating, gardening, reading, walking, interior design, and organizing and planning weddings, events, and bartending opportunities.
